After the initial training, a Director from your zone will pair you with one or two volunteers for your first patrol. Here you will learn: zone procedures, area of coverage, operation of equipment (LED Flares, cell phone, scanner, laptop computer), communication procedures, patrol reporting/logging procedures etc. Training is not that demanding and you should be on the road in no time.
